This test measures the levels of total IgE (an antibody) and specific allergens in your blood. These target individual allergens include food (Egg white, Milk, Fish, Shrimp, Wheat, Peanut, Soybean, Fruits), inhalants (dust mites, D2), insects (cockroach), legumes (lentil, chickpea), animal dander (cat, dog, horse, cow), and various environmental triggers (mold, grasses, weeds).

This test is done for several reasons:

During the test:

• The blood sample will be analysed in the laboratory using the ImmunoCAP method
• The test is quick and relatively painless, similar to a routine blood draw
• You will receive the results within 24 hrs

• Dress comfortably and avoid wearing scented products on the day of the test.
