Dr. Puneet Nigam

Dr. Puneet Kumar Nigam is the Chief Quality Officer at Metropolis Healthcare Limited, bringing with him over 24 years of extensive experience in laboratory operations and management.

Dr Puneet has been associated with NABL as 'Technical assessor' under ISO 15189 for Clinical Biochemistry and has served as both a Lead assessor and as a Technical and Lead assessor under ISO 17043. He has been a member of various Task Forces at ICMR and has also conducted many trainings and workshops for the technical staff on Quality control, quality assurance, etc.

Furthermore, Dr. Puneet's possesses significant expertise in the regulatory arena, having worked with esteemed organizations such as the US FDA, European Union, and WHO. His experience primarily lies in drug and pharmaceutical testing as well as bioanalysis. Since 2007, he has been associated with CDC as the India Head for the newborn screening proficiency testing program (NSQAP) for Indian Laboratories, focusing on new screening based on dried blood spots.

Dr. Puneet's impactful contributions also extend to the MHL EQAS program, an accredited proficiency testing initiative with participation from more than 600 labs. His robust technical skills, coupled with innovative and strategic thinking, have established him as a well-known figure in the healthcare sector, contributing significantly to the elevation of quality standards in diagnostics.
