Balakrishnan J

Balakrishnan J is the Chief Business Officer at Metropolis Healthcare Limited for Southern and Eastern India. Balakrishnan is an IAF veteran and an accomplished business leader with over two decades of experience in direct sales, channel sales, distribution sales, corporate and enterprise sales, customer service, and P&L management.

Before joining Metropolis Healthcare, Balakrishnan was associated with Rivigo Services, a logistics company. He also had a successful and long-term career with the esteemed telecom organization Bharti Airtel Ltd, where he gained extensive experience in leading and managing various southern markets in different roles. Additionally, he has worked with companies like BPL Mobile Cellular Limited and Usha Martin Telekom Limited. Before starting his corporate career, he served as a Flight Lieutenant for six years in the Indian Air Force.

Academically, Balakrishnan holds a BE in Mechanical Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University, an MBA in Marketing Management, and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Operations Management from IGNOU, New Delhi. He also has a diploma in International Trade from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune.
