Mr. Abdur Razzaque

Mr. Abdur Razzaque is the Group IT Head at Metropolis Healthcare Limited. With a career spanning over 30 years, he has garnered a wealth of experience in various sectors, including PSU, Government, Telecom, and Healthcare. Mr. Razzaque's professional journey is marked by his dedication and leadership in these diverse fields.

Before joining Metropolis in 2020, Mr. Razzaque served as the head of B2B IT Operations at Bharti Airtel Limited, one of India's prominent telecommunications companies. During his tenure at Airtel, from 2006 to 2020, he took on significant roles such as Head of IT and Executive Committee Member, overseeing different business operations of its Mobile Services division.

Mr. Abdur embarked on his career as a Project Engineer at Uptron India Ltd., where he specialized in process automation projects for thermal power stations. He later transitioned into a leadership role within the Central R&D Division, where he directed embedded systems design and development projects. From 1998 to 2006, Mr. Abdur contributed his expertise to the Government sector, first at CDAC Noida and subsequently with the Software Technology Parks of India under the Ministry of Communication & Information Technology. In this capacity, he served as Deputy Director for Northeast India & Sikkim.

On the education front, Mr. Abdur Razzaque holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics (with Honours) from Regional Engineering College, Allahabad and a Master’s degree in Software Systems from BITS Pilani.
